What embarrassing things have happened to you at work?

There's my obvious nap today but I can't think of anything else that's happened here that would make me - what's your story?

i used the word 'doody' while out on a business lunch!! we went for sushi and i had mackrel (phonetic) with the skin - and i put it in my mouth and blurted out uncontrolably 'Uhhhgg...DOODY' - cause i thought it was so gross!!!

i never even for a second thought about who the company around me was - i still get made fun of for it!

i had these new jeans that i wore..they were my 'favorite jean'....you know, the miracle type that made you look and feel awesome.....

anyway they were new and had a terrible smell.. i washed them right away and they still had a terrible smell...tso i washed them again and they were better....the tag said something like wash alone due to the dye.....

I was a print production manager and i was proofing an ad with a big wig art director and he turned to me and said 'what is that smell?' i was mortified,..i realized it was the dye from my pants....needless to say i never wore them again......

I was walking out to lunch with a bunch of co-workers and my arms were swaying back and forth...well the guy that was behind me got a nice cupping from my hands to his crotch... I WAS MORTIFIED!

Well there's the drunk Christmas party story where I was hitting on hot, married attorney and then proceeded to call him on his vm to apologize at 3am (still drunk)

Or

Being 19 & at my first major FT job & they were talking about Deep Throat of Watergate fame, but I caught part of the convo & thought they were referring to another type of 'deep throat' & made some stupid comment (to my boss & 2 of the other dept heads)

I've got a few....

One of mine also involves getting drunk at the Christmas Party, I kept saying 'the cheese is so good'. And it was seriously good cheese, to this day I've never had cheese that good!!

One time I made the toilet overflow, that was embarassing and gross!!!!!!!

Oh, I did that recently, and it was sooo embarrassing. It overflowed into the next stall, and the where the lab manager to my new lab (just started there) was. She got her sandals all wet and I felt AWFUL

During a staff meeting I used the word sex instead of six. Everyone was hysterical laughing.

Oh, there are so many . . .

1. First media function I ever went to, got smashed and told a co-worker that I had a major crush on him
2. Christmas party, got drunk, got on the mic and told the VP to get her sexy @ss on the dance floor
3. Another Christmas party, sashaying down the stairs (cause I'm sexy like that), stick my heel in the cuff of my pants and fall down the rest of the stairs in front of the rest of the company

I remembered another one, but it wasn't while I was at work.

I was at an honor society meeting in college and we were reviewing perspective new inductees. So I was reading one girl's application and mispronounced 'Deutsche Bank'.

You can only imagine how I pronounced it!!!! And I never lived it down!!!!!!!

this was at school but still. . .

in my college italian class i had to read an entire story about my perfect man - i kept mispronouncing lips ( at least 5 times) unfortunately . . . the way i was misprouncing it i was referring to another set of lips - that guys DEFINITELY dont have - the whole class was hysterical at how i described how i loved a man's soft full 'lips'

Typical drunk xmas party at work where my friend decided to sit on my lap and we both fell on our butts underneath the table. Getting out from under the table drunk and in a dress and heels.....not so easy

We have a bathroom in our suite (i work at a university). My boss opened the door while I was on the can AND my friend was visiting!! LOL. By now, she has opened the door on every single person in this office. It's now a running joke....of course, she doesn't know we joke about it....
