I just wanted to see if there was anything that anyone splurged on or upgraded to that they could have done without in the end. On the flip side, is there anything that you would have liked to have? (ie. fancy lead car, elaborate centerpieces, chocolate fountain, etc.)

slipper baskets cry packs uplighting colored shoes customized aisle runner custom made flowergirl dress high centerpieces programs STDs cardbox Chocolate fountains Fondant cake Video Customized Table numbers Chaircovers w/ sashes and crystal brooches Channa Plaque Escort Cards w crystals Dolphin Ice Sculpture
etc etc etc
I feel like all of these things are what made it OUR wedding and I loved everything about it.

Where did you get the boxes for the VH hour?.. Cute idea so everyone can take stuff home with them..
my RH had the boxes for us, we just made stickers and gave it the RH to put on all the boxes. no issues there!
also, even for dinner food, the RH asked the guests if they wanted them to wrap it up. they were really good about stuff like that!

I had my cardbox made at For The Modern Bride.com
My table numbers were made by a former 09 bride but she has since stopped working since she had a baby......but I have seen a few people on ETSY whomake very similiar ones. And the frames were from a 99 cents store in the city.

I loved... my uplighting, the cigar roller (everyone loved this!), matching linens, OUR CAKE!, the martini bar, the cordial bar, I could go on forever...
ETA: I had them make an ice luge for the martini bar, which quickly turned into a shot luge and I had people doing shots off it all through CH and they LOVED IT!
I'm so jealous!! I want a martini bar so bad, but FH doesn't think it's worth the extra money

I am actually doing well on the budget since I thought I was having at least 20-30 more guests (all of them were OOT and already cancaelled for various reasons). So I upgraded my cocktail stations at the RH and also will be doing Favor Cookies with the Sugar Chic.

Sooo worth it!!! Try to negotiate it in at your final meeting!
We got our cigar roller from LaRosa Cigars for those who were curious.
I also got a custom cardbox from For the Modern Bride and although it was pricey I LOVED IT!!!

AWESOME! Thats our #1 RH on the list so far! They didnt say anything about litle boxs for the VH!??! How should i bring it up with them? I TOTALLY wanna do this!
