Anyone? And are you matching your BM dresses to your fabric? I never thought I cared about the fabric but then I tried on the most LUXURIOUS dress in some ridiculously expensive satin--- the dress was $800 -- but if you want it in the satin it is $1700!! BIG change huh!!! SO-- what fabric is YOUR dress.... should I spend the extra $$??

mine is 'silky tafetta' whatever that means. I can't see spending that much more to make it real silk , thats my own opinion. I don't think anyone is going to feel my dress or look at the material content on the label

mine is lace....I am considering matching my BM dresses...bari jay makes some decently priced lace dresses.
But i did try on a silk satin dress...and it felt AMAZING.

mine is lace....I am considering matching my BM dresses...bari jay makes some decently priced lace dresses.
But i did try on a silk satin dress...and it felt AMAZING.

i think yours might also be dutchess satin..usually that thicker satin silk is dutchess, i think...i am really confused right now lol...Plus its romona keveza so i would think she would use that

hmmm....I think the dutchess satin just describes how the threads are woven together...but it can be made out of silk threads or polyester threads. I'm assuming the Romona Keveza and the Kenneth pool are most probably silk dutchess satin!!!

I just got a call from the dress shop- the OTHER dress that I love is not in the same fabric-- but they called demitrios and they will cut it in silk for me for another $600--- is it worth it/!?!?

Thats all up to you...If its what you really want and you dont mind spending that money...to some girls its worth it to others its not...Some are not willing to spend that money, it might be out of the budget, if that is the case then dont do something you are not comfortable with...But if you really want it in that fabric and you dont mind spending the extra money and its within your budget, go right ahead

Because i don't have a pic... I didn't know I was going to buy my dress the day I went so i didn't have a camera ( i used my camera phone but the pics just suck!!!) and my dress is NOWHERE to be found on my designer's website...LoL I think that is why I am so anxious to try it on again!!!
