Either to meet them or so they could do more good in the world?

to say jesus would be complicated for a number of reasons.

I know I'm a dork, but I wish Walt Disney were alive. I think what he started was so wonderful and it's been really going downhill. I would have loved to have had 40 more years of his creativity, ingenuity and insight. I think he would have invented some really amazing things. unlike the people currently running the Disney Studios, he wasn't afraid to take chances!
Also I can't believe that there is NOT ONE Disney in the Disney company anymore..it's so depressing.

Richard Nixon (he was amazing in the area of Foreign affairs and served as an advisor in that area to so many presidents that followed him- Clinton included. His advisement and intellect could help so much right now )

Ohhhh River!!!! I loved him dearly! I remember I was in the shower when my Dad yelled to me that he had died...I was devastated.

I also wish James Dean was still alive

Stevie Ray Vaughan. He died in a plane crash when I was in college. He played blues guitar in an awesome way. He also played all the guitar parts on David Bowie's 'Let's Dance' album (yes ALBUM as there were NO CD's in the early 80s) and covered Jimi Hendrix's 'Little Wing' in a way that makes me cry.

gregory hines. he's a great actor and an amazing dancer. hines started young through the art of tap. 'society' made it hard for hines who's african-am, to be accepted as a serious performer but that didn't stop him! he broke barriers by dancing and it paved the way for future 'colored' artists. he was definitely an intricate part in social history.

My immediate answer was Elvis. I didn't hesitate for a second. Then I saw the response with John and George's name and now I'm not sure. I'm the same generation as your parents, no doubt, we all were hoping for a reunion of the Beatles at one time. They were an amazing phenomenon.

I remember sitting on the floor in awe, watching them all make their first performances on TV on Ed Sullivan ...if anyone has any idea who he is.

It was rough, but my choice still has to be Elvis!
