What Favor did You Choose?

This has been one of the hardest things to choose so far. I had originally wanted to do truffles in small favor boxes. But, I guess that is a very easy thing to give away. My family gave a version of that away at our e-party and then we set up a candy bar for the bridal shower, so I am all candied/truffled out and I think my guest might be too.

So I was thinking of giving away 1 heart shaped cookie cutter per family and applying a tested and approved recipe for easy sugar cut-out cookies to the back of the packaging. I want to give them something practical and lessen the chance of the favor just collecting dust and ending up the garbage..

So I started wondering, what are other brides doing this year.

We had custom cookbooks printed and we gave black and white cookies to the kids

I did cupcakes, Marneycakes did them. They were delicious!

My aunt made us bookmarks with a thank you and our engagement pic on it. I think bookmarks are things that most people will use at some point...plus people are less likely to toss something with your face on it

We are doing a donation to breast cancer awareness. I bought pink ribbon bookmarks to give with the letter that will explain the donation.

Clearly I have time to think about this...I was orginally thinking flip flops that have an end thing that is a pic frame (and itd be place card holder)

however...now im not doing beach theme, and i was thinking something food related...

THEN---I was thinking a photo booth..

Ahh so many choices, so while i have SO much time away..I LOVE hearing ideas :)

wow, those are adorable!! where did you get them and were they expensive? the mini wedding cakes from godiva are SERIOUSLY overpriced..

Were probably going to do a donation to the amercian cancer society, with navy blue wrist bands (navy blue is the color for colon CA, which my FH's mom passed away from). Well prob do little scrolls explaingin the donation and the band will go around it.

We are doing individual Ice Cream bowls. FH and I are both ice cream fanatics (seriously, we have it every night!) and we are also having an ice cream sundae bar at the wedding so I thought it was a nice tie in. Pics in album.

I had custom cookies made of a wine box that my DH got me as a gift during the proposal. The Sugar Chic made them and they were amazing. You will see photos in my album ...

Also doing donation to the Breast Cancer Awareness. I bought pink rhinestone pink ribbon pins and i am piercing them through a note we will print and place at place setting.

I'm doing a donation - I just haven't decided to which charity yet. I personally don't like favors. I feel like it's something I never need anyway. Why not do something meaningful to society!!
