What favors are you planning to give your guests?

What favors are you planning to give your guests?

All I want to give is a bride and groom boxes with candy/mints in them. My mom thinks I should give more than that? What are you ladies doing? Do you think that is enough to give guests?

my girlfriend did that for her wedding and everyone loved them!
I am doing calla lily candles they are small too i dont think u need soemthing big and expensive especially if you are having alot of people!

I am so far from planning favors, but I think it depends on your budget. If you can't do more than that, then don't worry. What are these bride/groom boxes you are talking about?

we're doing a donation to the acs and something else (but i havent decided what that something else is yet).

i kinda want to do the love coasters but i feel like they are really popular and we are going to a few weddings in 2008 before us and im worried that others might have it..if not mabe icecream scoopers bc im OBSESSED with icecream haha

on another note im a little worried about the same thing with my dress lol..i was talking to a teacher in my school thats getting married this august and we have the same dress haha.. so im a little worried that one of our close friends that are getting married might have the same..but im prob just being paranoid lol

I think the idea is cute. And you know what? You are doing your guests a favor by inviting them to witness such an intimate and wonderful moment in your lives! And by giving them dinner and drinks all on you!

To answer the question - my favors are in my album. I gave 'cookie kits'. Heart Shaped cookie cutters, heart shaped measuring spoons, a heart shaped cookie a scroll of a sugar cookie recipe and a trifold of a 'recipe for a successful marriage'. I also had pastel thank you mints and full sized hershey bars with personalized labels.

i ordered my favors already fromk a seller on ebay she is amazing!! check her out maybe she has something you like! my favors worked out to 72 cents each!!

We're doing a candy buffet and allowing guests to take home candy in little Chinese take out boxes and we're doing personalized cds as place cards.

We're doing a perfect pair them, we're vodka drinkers & our venue is more like a manhattan lounge than a catering hall this is what we're doing, one box per couple, the glasses will be clear w/ Olive printing
