what flowers go with brown BM gowns??

I really like for everything to be very colorful and I want very colorful flowers. I thought that my girls would wear a color like purple, however, I saw some BM gowns in brown and they are so rich looking and gorgeous. If I had the BMs in brown, could I still do colorful flowers????? Obviously, white flowers look great with brown dresses, but all white is not my style.

pink is very complementary to brown. it's often paired together in wedding invitations. i've seen those 2 colors used in a wedding and it was beautiful. the brown is sophisticated and the pink is feminine.

Ok, I can see where pink would be really nice with brown......but I do love purple.....would I have to give up having purple. Or, what if the girls carry pink and I carry a mix of pink and purple?

I did pinks, chocoloates, raspberries, etc. My floral designer just did an article in this month's martha stewart weddings on color coordinating centerpieces. The first page of the article is all about colors that go with chocolate.

The flowers in these pictures are chocolate cosmos, roses (but not the typical ones you usually see), plum branches, orchids, and hydrangea.

Do a search for Spel's wedding pics. I was in her wedding, and we wore brown gowns with autumn-colored flowers. It looked great.

i vote for pink but some of the pics posted here look like they would go great.

I think that pink, ice blue and ivory are the best matches.

Peach, yellow and orange also could work depending upon the exact shades.

I have chocolate brown BM dresses. We are probably going with ivory flowers with blue or gold accents.

pinks, peach, lavender, light blue and ivory would all look pretty. Orange would look nice in the fall, but I would avoid it in the spring or summer.

I agree.
I love it with Ivory but I'm always into neutral colors . . .
