We had a timer and every 5 or 10 minutes it would go off and whoever's present was being open received a prize.

my girls did the pocketbook game which was a big hit! They made a list and the first folks who got the item won something. All they did the toliet paper dress game (which my aunts LOVED!).

We played a purse game.....each guest was given a sheet and you got points for each credit card, each bill, each coin, each lipstick, kleenex, condom, etc you had in your purse. The person with the most points wins.

At my shower we only played Bingo (that is all I wanted, I did not want to play a lot of games), but we did this at my friends shower and it was fun.

we played: 'name that tune' and 'who knows the bride/wedding plans the best' (aside from the ones already mentioned)
if you need info on 'name that tune':
a mix cd is made of snip-its of love/wedding songs. each person gets a paper numbered with as many songs as are on the cd. you play the cd. each person needs to write down the name and/or artist of the song.
points can be for BOTH name and artist or for EITHER, depending on what you want to do. the lady with the most points wins.
this is a great moment to include wedding songs of people who will be attending the shower and/or bride's wedding song.

They played Bingo while I opened gifts.
My BMs know I'm a big fan of the show Friends so we played some Trivia, me vs. everyone else. If I got a question wrong then someone else had a chance to answer it and if they answered correctly they got a prize.
At my cousin's shower they did a 'how well do you know the bride?' quiz and whoever got the most right won a prize. They also did something really cute!! They took a picture of the happy couple and (I don't know how they did this) but they made it B&W like a page in a coloring book. Then they gave us all crayons and we colored them in. The bride/my cousin picked the best ones and they got prizes (I won one!!).

at my friend's shower we played the following....
questions about how well she knew FH...like 'rob's fav tv show?' 'rob's fav game?' and they would hold the answers above her head while she opened gifts!! here's the catch...for every question she got wrong, they put a piece of bubblicious in her mouth!!!! it was soooo funny!!!!!

I just had my shower, and we played a great game 'How well does Patrick (FH) know Callan?'
They called him up and asked him all these questions about me, without me knowing....
then they asked me the same questions and I had to answer what I thought he said-- everytime I got the answer wrong I had to put a peice of double bubble in my mouth I got a lot of answers wrong and everyone had a great laugh.
