What goes with Midnight Blue?

Our wedding theme is NYC at night and we are getting married in a venue that is floor to ceiling glass. I chose bridesmaid's gown in a deep jewel tone midnight blue with a train and a keyhole neckline. My gals love these gowns!

Has anyone done a dark blue wedding theme?
What color or kind of flowers did you use?

My wedding colors are navy, pale yellow, and ivory. Possibly some light blues in there, I'm not going crazy with the 'colors' thing. My flowers are going to be all roses: ivory Vendela, champagne/peach Sahara, and pale yellow. I love navy and dark blue with creamy colors. Dark blue also looks great with all shades of pink, with green hydrangeas, and with with purple and lavender. I don't like dark blue with red--too Fourth of July for a wedding, and I'm not fond of it with orange, as it looks like Islander colors! Not for a wedding, anyway. But it looks great with peachy colors, especially mixed with cream, like I'm doing. Dark blue also looks great with silver, but I'm not sure how you'd do that with flowers, other than white. But white is lovely too, very crisp. The only thing I'd really advise against is dyed blue flowers--they tend to look bad and cheap and fake. You can't go wrong with nature, and just because you're using blue it doesn't mean your flowers need to be blue, too!
