What happen/!?!

This may be silly but exactly what happens at first fitting- I have my shoes Spanx and the belt I want sewn into the dress

I just go try on the dress and they pin it etc?

Do we discuss bustle?
And if I want it made more into a sweetheart neckline?

It's tomorrow!!! So excited :)

also, I plan on making mine into more of a sweetheart neckline also! When it came in, the lady that worked there said it will be super easy to do on our dress :) I'm going going to get the back lowered a bit too.

I will. I got the ones from Victoria secret as it has a butt enhancer as well

I just brought my shoes and belt for the dress but that was it... I'm not wearing spanx because they are incredibly uncomfortable lol

also to answer your other questions: You don't do anything about a bustle until the 2nd or 3rd fitting, if you want it made into a sweetheart just ask and they will do it no problem. and yes, for the most part you just stand there and they do alot of pinning lol... This was the deal with my first fitting, but I guess every place is a little different idk

This is a random question, but are you girls wearing a bra with your dress or having cups sewn in? When I tried on my dress last month they told me to go braless, but I'm not sure how comfortable I am with that idea, especially since the cups aren't supportive.

They just make you try on the dress and give you the price of any alterations you may need and if you need a bustle added on. My first fitting was quick bc I didn't have my shoes or the belt

Haha good call! I guess when the time comes I'll have to decide! I'm just worried because I'm rather large on top and don't think the cups are supportive enough. When the lady in the store told me to go bra less I laughed! Don't want any nip slips or anything lol.

I only had 2 fittings for my dress so I think that what they will do for you all depends on how many fittings you will have.

At my first fitting they pinned the dress and set the bustle for me and at the second fitting they made sure everything fit well and pinned my belt to be sewn on.

Also just a warning- they may go at your dress with scissors right there! I was so freaked out when she started cutting tulle off of my dress while I was in it but apparently it's normal and everything worked out just fine lol.

I will not be wearing spanx, since my dress is corseted so it holds me in real nice. I am debating on wearing a bra or not also. I would like some lift and push up so I have some cleavage (not too much lol). I don't know if the cups sewn in can do that?

I debated this as well. I was thinking maybe having cups sewn in and using some of those 'chicken cutlets' for a lil extra push. ;)

I'm large busted too and was stressing because I can never find a good strapless that comes in my size without paying an arm and a leg. But then when my dress came in I tried it on and I truly didn't need a bra at all. We tried it with a corset under and I was poping out left and right lol, but without it was perfect. It's very weird since I haven't been able to go bra-less in public for years lol but the way these dresses are made it just works lol.

Bring shapewear/spanx, shoes, belt, veil if you have it. We did the bustle because I am moving out of state, but that typically doesn't occur until a later fitting since they may need to adjust the length of the dress on the first fitting.

I always wear a bra, but the owner took it off during the fitting because the dress has a built in.

Thanks girls. It went well today! In making it a sweet heart well a little more of a sweet heart- and the type of bustle I want can be done!
