So everyone started recieving invitations yesterday, fh and I decided we should count how many people we actually invited...a little late, but better late than never...225..the room hold a max of 200, and 180 comfortably....so what happens if everyone says yes? Can everyone do the no dance for me?

I agree with Kerry, not everyone will say yes.
But you probably should have counted everyone before you sent them out, but that ship has sailed, so I guess you just have to hope for no's now
But I will tell you we only had 20 no RSVP's. We never thought that some of the people who came would come.

I would still think of a backup plan. I was in the same boat as you thinking we could count on some no's...we literally got 5 no's out of 111 invites are a bit over what the room holds...
Good luck!!

Re: what happens if you over invite?
We were in a similar boat. Room can hold 180 comfortably and 200 max. We had a guest list of 270+. We did two guest lists and three RSVP dates....let me explain: Our family and very close friends made up the 'A-list' and had a reply date of early August. These invites went out in late June. We also sent out the 'b-list' invites in late June but they had an RSVP date of late August. Combined, our A+B list was 200 people and as the 'no's' arrived, we sent out invites from the 'C-list' which had an RSVP date of early September. It's very hard to keep it all straight and we had to be sure that people whom we know would talk to each other about the invites were on the same RSVP date. So far, we only have 25 No's and 120 Yes. Right now we are hoping we will hit our 180 people minimum we guaranteed our hall! HTH.

Not everyone will say yes. Even those people that you thought would never in a million years miss your wedding will surprise you with a 'no'.
Don't stress over it until you are past your RSVP date!
