Yeah basically I am not 100% on what I want so I am afraid that when I actually see the centerpiece that I won't like it and I can totally see myself totally changing my mind. I am also afraid because a sample centerpiece is always made a few months prior to the actual wedding, so if I want to change, the florist has me...and can charge higher rates, etc. You know?

It is just a little stressing in making my decision - which I have no idea because I don't know much about flowers.

I feel your pain because I am the same way. I booked my florist, but I am not going back till 6 or 4 months before the wedding because I change my mind so much

ik1 - who did you book?

I met with Flower Michele and Designs by Rose.

Both are good. I am waiting for Designs by Rose to send me a quote.

We booked FM and when I went in and we did up my contract I was told I could change whatever I wanted basically up until 2 weeks before. Of course there would be a price difference if I upgraded, but if you have a set budget any florist that you book with should be able to bend with what you want and make sure you are happy with the final product.

I completely changed my order about a month before the wedding and it wasn't a problem at all.
