The school district is either Miller Place or Rocky Point and both are wonderful and I personally love it. It is a beautiful area. I looked there but my FI works in Brooklyn and the commute would have been ridiculous for him.

We are going to contract with a house in Sound Beach. We are Miller Place schools and we LOVE the area!![]()

sound beach is a really nice area, it used to beach a beach community back in the day. The only thing is that it is pretty far away from major highways like the lie and northern state- at least 30 min drive in the morning. But over all it is very affordable and nice , i just wish i didnt work in melville- I would move there.

my friend at work is fixing up his sons home in sound beach and the pics are beautiful there right near the beach and a nature preserve.

My FH and I just bought a house in Rocky Point, just next to Sound Beach. I think it is a pretty area and although it is far out east I think it is one of the best areas that he and I could afford.
