My FH keeps saying, 'we have a year' for EVERYTHING. I feel like this year is going to fly by and want to save the last few months for last minute details.
I have my venue, bridal party, photographer, hotel blocks, and that's it.
I'm currently looking for invitations, videographers and DJs.
How much should I expect to pay for my videographer and DJ.
Did you do your invitations already??? It's too early, right?

My FH says the same thing but we booked our venue, photographer, videographer, DJ, ceremony music, and cocktail hour music. We paid about $2200 for our DJ and over $3000 for our videographer which is a little pricey but i love them. As for invitations, I have definitely started looking but I am not buying until much later.

FH and I have all our vendors booked, we just wanted to get it out of the way.
My wedding is Nov. 2007 and we need to ger our invitations earlier then most because we are sending a lot to Ireland so the lady that is doing our invitations suggested we order them in Feb. 2007 - which will be 9 mths before the wedding.
Being that your wedding is almost a year away you should get an idea of what invitation you like and then order them in the next couple of months.

I've started to look at invitations, but I'm not going to order until a few months before the wedding. We've gotten a lot done because we're trying to do something each time we go back to LI. So far we have the hall, photo, video, dj, ceremony and CH music, officiant and I just ordered our STD magnets!

we know what we're going to do for favors and what invitations we want
i found ceremony musicians that i love but FH isn't too crazy about the idea..he's going to do what i want so no worries
i want to order my invites soon because i have a fear that they won't be around by the time i should be ordering them...i just have to find out if i can get them a little cheaper
i also have an idea of who i'm going to use for calligraphy
i'm so excited to get married

I have the RH, band, florist, priest, bridal party
Currently we're working on save the dates (FBIL is graphic designer and creating them for us) and making appointments with photographers, videographers, and Day of Coordinators.
I have my first bridal gown shopping appointment set for next month.
There is a lot to do but I just prefer to do a few things every month. I find it less stressful for us this way.

I have RH, photographer and that's it. Im just going day by day. I had to take a break because of finals. But my next step will be videograher, save the dates, DJ etc. I would like to do things ahead of time to avoid last minute stress.

I booked most of the things for the wedding in the 3 month period right after my enagement and I'm glad I did b/c I have very little left to do, so if you want to book it go for it! Less to think about! XOXOXO Kitty

We have the: Church, hall, DJ, DOC, photo/video, florist, limos, dress, favors, hotel block, tuxes chosen and favors and OOT bags. We have some DIY invites but we mau not use them now... we put a deposit on out HM (as we were getting married in 06) so now we may re-book the place.....

So far we have booked the Church, the Hall, and the Dj.
We are in the middle of looking at photographers and videographers. We have met with 3 so far and I think we picked the one we like, we just have to meet with him to make up a contract.
I am getting married the same day as you and we are trying to do one thing a month. FH is studying to take his CPA exam so he has enough to worry about right now.
June we are going to look for Limo's and start our Pre-Cana classes. Then over the summer we will look for rings and book our honeymoon.

We have the -- Reception Hall, DJ, Officiant, Makeup/Hair, Dress, Photographer so far.
I'm signing contract tomorrow for florist tomorrow
Currently viewing OOT hotels in preparation for Save the Date Cards, Browsing invitations, BM dresses.
