haha that's where I am too! After we booked the RH, I was like 'OK time for a break!' I don't know how I would do this if I didn't have 2 years to plan everything! My friend just got married last week, so that gave me a boost of motivation and now I feel like starting up again. I've been trying to contact the church and I'm looking into photo/video.

I've only booked the Rh and the church so far, but I have ordered my save the dates and my favors online.
I'd like to get the photographer and the DJ done soon, but I'm so busy right now, I might wait until the end of this semester.

Who are you looking at for photographers? I think 8-6 months prior for STDs, especially if it isn't a holiday weekend or anything like that...
So far we've just got... RH - Fox Hollow Church - St Aidan Photo-Video - Duet DJ - FM

i only like to use my cc for emergency and to us this is not one of them .. lol
I agree!!! I don't want any type of loan, credit card debit after our wedding! I refuse to be in debt because of the wedding and I surely do not want to start our marriage off in debit....Cash all the way!
also it's great because when we paid cash sometimes they gave us better deals
I like DEALS!! lol

We've hired a full time wedding coordinator so far.
We have a couple of locations that we are interested in taking a look at. She is putting together a list of more places for us. We are having a destination wedding, so she was key to keeping my sanity.

RH/Ceremony - Chateau la Mer Photo- Digital Photo Emporium DJ - Unlimited Entertainment Djs Limos - Camelot - (Joe is my favorite person EVER.) 2 Lincoln Navigators (With the option of trading up later on if I want to w/o having to up the price.) And an Escalade for the ride home Favors - Decided on Engraved Champagne flutes, but have to look into where to get them.
FH and I wanted to get everything booked and out of theway so we know what to save up for the next year and a half so no worrying. And Cash is definately the best way to go. No bounced checks and my CC's aren't going to be hurting afterwards.
We are going to work on flowers and limos after the holidays.

OMG I AGREE..... we have used e-party gifts for all of our deposits so far and have been adding to the wedding fund!!!

Wow a lot of you girls are really ahead! We have booked ceremony and reception hall (Crest Hollow) and now we are looking at bands and then we'll check out photographers.
