What have you done w/your hall?

Ok, so the wedding is in 40 days and trying to put together the list of everything I need to get done with the hall ...

would appreciate all input ...

Did you choose the linens and the menu? How about the time and date for dropping off the favors? Did you let them know when the florist will be there to set up? The Photographer?

Just went for the tasting. Not sure what else we can do now. I suppose next will be giving them the final count, dropping off favors, baskets for bathroom, place cards, etc. It sounds to easy, there must be more.

We've decided on the menu & linens but have not met with them yet. I guess that's kinda my question too - should I be calling them to set up these meetings or should they have contacted me with timelines of when they need to know certain aspects?

The contact we had went out on maternity leave then decided not to come back and last we spoke to someone they were hiring someone new (who was supposed to start last week but we haven't been contacted!!) - so it's been a bit inconsistent. ARGH.

I would DEFINATELY call them and set up an appt. Your date is coming up very fast! Good luck with everything!

We've kinda been in the 'I'm not calling them, they BETTER call us' mode ...

dopey, I know.

But like we had our tasting almost two weeks ago, was it too much to expect they would follow up with a phone call to see how it went? Anyway, FH is supposed to be calling them today ...
