What Have You Learned Through Wedding Planning?

Two more weeks before my wedding and I realize that I have learned alot in the 10 months I had to plan this wedding.

I learned:

- What's an AC Moore and Michaels!
- More about my family members, good and bad :(
- I love DIY projects and am good at it too! :D
- Who my real friends really are
- My in-laws are great!
- And of course, forget theknot.com, LIW is way better for wedding tips and advice!

Anyone else want to share?

I've learned:

--That our love MUST be true, cause my FH is going thru this planning, and still plans on marrying me.
--Budgets are practically pointless, you'll just toss it out the window
--Some people just don't know how to be happy for you and try and pee on your parade
--That my dad may think weddings are pointless & expensive, but has no problem spending MY money by inviting people without telling me, and think it's ok.
--That the friends who are true, will stick by you and those who aren't will bail
--That I can take an unimaginable amount of stress and still get up in the morning!

this is what i've learned....

weddings CAN mend burned bridges within a family.... THANK GOD!!!

my fh can take a LOT of my sh!t

my in-laws are just as crazy as the family i was born into

theknot.com isn't all it's cracked up to be

i can be more creative than i thought i could

i am capable of doing more than i thought

That I love all the wedding related things I need to book and buy. It's been so much fun researching flowers, bands, gowns, churches, reception halls.
I am truly going to miss it when it's over.
