What household responsibilties do you and your FH have?

What household responsibilties do you and your FH have?

This will be difficult for those of you who do not live with your lovely FHs yet, but you can imagine!!

I'll start:

I usually cook because I get home earlier than him, but if I cook he does dishes from cooking and eating.

He HAS to take the garbage out...I do not do that.

I would say he takes the dog out to the bathroom (since we dont have a yard) more than I do...but I take the dog to the beach every afternoon.

I usually clean the house when he isn't home because I am OCDish but he always helps when he is home...usually vacuuming and throwing away the mail that collects on the book shelf.

Fh has ocd and loves to clean...he vaccums dusts, and he even cooks..how lucky am i right? lol


but i take care of our cat and all her needs, and i am responsible for the bathroom! he's lucky i clean up aftermyself, we've been living 2gether for over 2 years and i still wanna just throw my clothes on the floor

laundry
clean

FH:
folds clothes
puts clothes away
garbage
he carries the dirty clothes down to the basement
makes lunches

not much since we both still live at home. i do my own own laundry, and help my mom with everyone elses (i love doing laundry). i wash dishes, i am definitely ocd'ish, i have to hand wash the dishes to make sure they are clean, i totally dispise dishwashers! haha, i'll totally have one in my own kitchen one day.

I cook, he does the dishes

I do not take out the garbage

I do the laundry

He sweeps up sometimes

But i mop and clean the bathroom

He'll clean up our daughters room and our room and the living room as equally as me

And i do everything else, like food shopping, putting hte clothes away etc

well we dont live together yet, but as of right now i can see it being...

me: laundry and cleaning house/dishes/etc
fh: cooking
both: food shopping

Me:
Cook, clean our apartment, do the laundry, take care of the bills

FH:
take out the garbage, do the dishes, vacuum the apartment, and wash the floors (kitchen and hallway)

US:
clean our bedroom... and fold the clothes.. lol... and go food shopping...

I :cook, clean and do most of the grocery shopping

FH :does dishes, takes out the garbage, vaccuum and cooks once in a while, cleans the bathroom once in a while and helps with grocery once in a while

I handle the cooking, walk the dogs; fh does the laundry, cleaning the house

Me:
Cook
Clean the kitchen
Clean the living room/dining room
Do the laundry
Drop off the dry cleaning

FH:
Washes dishes/loads dishwasher
Takes out the garbage
Cleans the bathroom
Carries the laundry downstairs for me to do

we both cook, it just depends on who wants to cook that day. He takes out the garbage,

i clean b/c he doesnt clean very well. LOL

Fh LOVES to sort the recycle bin.. so I guess that would be his job... Hes into the whole save the earth thing and so he actually enjoys that stuff..

Pathetically enough we love cleaning together and cooking... we cook every friday and saturday for his family or mine so I guess he would want that to stay the same...

But as a teacher Ill be getting home much earlier than him and (HOPEFULLY) he will have another job by then ... so I wouldnt mind cooking....

Hmm...
The only t hing I cant do... would be to use bleach... I cant handle the smell....

Clean
Do Laundry
Cook



He:
Garbage
Cook (on the nights when I'm get home late from dance)
Takes the Dog Out

washes the dishes

Me:
Clean/Tidy up the apt
Laundry

Both:
Cook (depending on who is home 1st that day)
Grocery Shopping

We live w/ my mom ....but

He: -Cooks
-Takes out the trash
-Drops off the Laundry to get done
-Picks Up the Laundry when its done
-Dishes

I: -Feed our Fish & clean his tank
-Go Food shopping
and I have to go aisle by aisle
-Put up the Chrsitmas Tree


My Mom - Cleans, and Cleans, and Cleans
