what inappropriate song must be played at your wedding?

Original post by JPC1125

I mean, is there any song you ABOLUTELY LOVE but maybe the guests at your wedding just won't get

For example, I have a feeling my older family members will just be aghast that I NEED my DJ to play Sean Paul's new song 'We be burnin'

I'm just curious to see how risque/sexy/ outrageous we brides to be are!

Mine was full of it LOL we are 80's glam rockers to the core!

We came out to a very heavy instrumental from Dream Theater

We played ACDC 'you shook me all night long'

Garter song was 'hot for teacher' by van halen

we played 'You've got another thing comin' by judas priest at the start of the vienniase hour

hubby dedicated and sang 'lady' by styx to me on the dancefloor LOL

people would expect none the less from us and it went over well

What about that 'When I think about you I touch myself song...' That would certainly be inappropriate!

I just love Paradise by the Dashboard Light by Meatloaf, it's such a fun song to sing to!! I want to play it sooooo bad, but I put FH in charge of music so it has to be approved by him. Which is OK since everything else has to be approved by me!!

Ha! That would be so funny if I played this at our wedding because it's so obviously not true- we're both poor!

Personally i don't think any song is inappropriate. My family as well as FH's family loves music, and loves to dance. So we will be playing everything from Jayz, and Mary J to Al Green, and Patty La Bell with a big splash of reggae, b/c we are both of west indian descent. The only thing we will hold back is ofcourse the language. But believe me we will be partying

We played that at our reception and it turned out to be one of the best moments of the night. Everyone lined up and they took turns singing and had the best time!!
