What information do you need to get a quote on homeowner's insurance???
I'm clueless and of course, FH does nothing so I have to call

They ask you lots of questions like: square footage what kind of heat do you have smoke alarms is their a pool is there a fireplace are the walls plaster
and on and on... I had to get my FH to call them back b/c I had no idea!!

type of construction of the house (frame, brick, etc.) date of construction distance to nearest firehouse value of contents of the house
