On LIRR: -Walkmans blasting so loudly that I hear what you are listening to 5 rows away from you -Cell phone conversations and Nextel conversations. Both really bad. -When cell phone users shout: 'WHAT?? I'M ON THE TRAIN!! YEAH! I'M ON THE TRAIN!! YOU WANNA HAVE DINNER NEXT WEEK? YEAH! I'M ON YHE TRAIN! -people whose luggage takes up seats and they don't move it -people who are non-commuters, who get on my morning express train and talk loudly the whole way into Penn while I'm trying to get my morning nap.
In life:
-bad drivers -people who don't hold their children's hands when walking down the street. -bad grammar -bad Long Island accents -people who say 'axed' instead of 'asked'

Re: what is
I guess the really only things that bother me are:
aggressive drivers...I always say to myslef, 'why do they theink that they are better than me...and need to cut ahead of me'...or whatever they do to get ahead
then I repeat DH's grandfather's mantra: 'better to waste a minute of your life...than your life in a minute'
also..DH BITES HIS NAILS...everyone in the family has told me that they have done everything to get him to stop...I have now told him he must go into the bathroom to do it...so I don't have to hear...

Re: what is
At work: people who let their unruly children run all over the place where I work and expect US to entertain them (Hello!!! I work in RETAIL, not childcare, get a babysitter)
Same people who talk on their cell phone while I'm waiting for them to give me their credit card, and also holding up the other 15 people behind them.
People who put their pets (yes, their pets!! dogs, cats, and we've even had a guinea pig) on the counter and get fur & pawprints all over. You wouldn't bring your furry little friend to MACY'S now would you???
In general:
People who drop tissues on the floor and leave them there and you have to touch their icky germ rag.
People who are sitting in front of a ringing phone but let the person across the room get up to answer it.
Lots of other ones too, but those were the first tto come to mind!
