what is a ???

Ok so i feel silly asking this but what is a grooms cake?? I hear a lot of ppl talking about it and have no clue what it is.

Also what is a care or cry pack??? is that like tissues??

pretty much since the actual wedding cake is more 'girly', some couples have a separate smaller cake which is called the Groom's Cake. It's usually a shaped cake, something to show the Groom's favorite hobby or interest. Most bride's get it as a sruprise for the Groom.

I am surprising my FH with a groom's cake in the shape of an XBox 360 (I call it his other wife) and having a little sign put on it that says 'Game Over'. I got a great quote from a bakery too. I can't wait to see his face when they roll it out. I have a pic of what I am doing in my Cakes album.

They aren't necessary at all... it's just one of those little extras.

I would prob get him the car of his dreams the skyline! Ill tell him I got him the car as his present! haha he would be pissed

Another thing that some people do is to have the groom's cake at the rehearsal dinner and then the regular wedding cake at the reception!

My friend who got married last Friday did this - she had a Rangers hockey puck made for him and that was the cake at the rehearsal dinner, he had no idea so it was super cute.

Since FH and I are Yankee fans - and we got engaged at the stadium, I am going to get him a Yankee helmut cake, Not sure yet if it will be for the rehearsal dinner or at the actual wedding yet though.

Another friend of mine had her husbands fire helmut made into a cake - he is in the FDNY, he loved it!

my sister did that too and my FH wants to do that. I've some pretty crazy groom's cakes. My BIL had the mask of Jason Voorhees with a knife and stuff. I was soooo awesome, and quite delicious if I do say so myself!!

My FH doesnt want a groom's cake. He just wants a giant brownie. lol

E-Party is your engagement party. Basically an event to celebrate the engagement to introduce the 2 families to each other.

E-Pics are your Engagement Photos. Couples like to have these done to use for certain WR things like the guestbook or Save the Dates (STDs).

Neither one if necessary if you don't want to have them.

don't worry... the first time I saw the title 'I got my STDs' I was like W T F... then UI realized it was Save The dates

hahaha omg it totally is an addition! I was writing some different ideas for std prices and places and on top it said std my bro saw it and was like ummmm do u have any issues?
