What is an appropriate deposit for an officiant
Our officiant never indicated the $$ amount for a deposit. What's appropriate to send? Is there a certain %?

Our officiant is $575 and we had to give a $75 deposit.

Our officiant is $350 and we don't give him anything until the wedding day.

Our Officiant didn't ask for a deposit. She booked us and we pay her the day of in cash.

We gave a $75 deposit (total cost is $375).

We're paying $400 total and she took a 50% deposit.

Sounds like the range and it depends on the officiant.

We did not have to give a deposit, but we had to pay for interfaith pre cana.

Ours was $550. The deposit was $150 then the balance ($400) due on the wedding day). Good luck!
