I bought the groomsman gifts, so all bridal party gifts are done.
Tomorrow I'm going to *almost* fully pay off the reception hall (Not fully because I was told it's good to owe them some money).
And I want to start working on booking at honeymoon in the coming week.

RH booked, will book photog this week! Looking for DJ and video now. Will pick colors and find a florist in May (at the 1 year mark so I can see what's growing there and in season). Once engagement photos are in my hands (will likely take those in May) I'll make STD's!!!! I have so much time I don't want to do it all at once! Just book the major vendors at this point. As for the dress, I'll start looking again when the mood strikes me. I need to loose a few pounds, I don't even want to buy regular clothes at this point! LOL.

well we were supposed to go book the dj tonight (again) but with the snow I may have to move the appt. (again). I'll see what the weather looks like later on in the day and if by noon or a little later it still looks bad I'm going to call and re-schedule (again).

I have everything pretty much done that I needed to get done. I'm taking a nice little break for a like two months so I can accumulate some more money. But if I see something for my BMs, I'm going to buy it. But everything major is done!

wow huh! I feel far behind! I have RH, ceremony location and photo/video booked. we are working on DJ's right now. will have a decision by SAturday. and then onto flowers!
still have STD's limos, invites, bm gifts favors and small stuff (cake toppers etc)

You're not far behind at all. I'm getting married in 2010 and only engaged for 8 months and got a lot done already, but still need to do more and I know I have time. You are in a good situation right now not getting married to 2011. You have the option to get it all done now or pace yourself.

Have the RH booked photo/video booked & just booked the dj this weekend...now I gunna start planning our engagement bbq(june)...i know im a little backwards but I wanted to make sure those things were done first.

Right now we are taking a time out till after the e-party which is March 6th. But after that the next things we are going to book is video and limo's - do our pro engagement shots, get the STD's out and then start dress shopping so I can get going on the flowers.
But we have the RH, church, dj and photog booked - we started the invite process already too. We already asked our bridal party - so that's done!

Well i do have my DJ. but its not a major vendor. He was the DJ at my sis wedding in 2008 and is doing my cousins wedding in May at Jericho Terrace
FH and I are both dominican (but born and raised in NYC) and wanted a dominican DJ that can play both spanish/english music.
We are also hiring a Dominican Band, to play some of our traditional Music (merengue) which gets the party really going!

What happened with Westbury manor?
I booked rh and photog, those were the most important to me and FH.
Now we are just working on finishing our house so we can move in by Mar 1st. Then we will be back to wedding planning!

Right now I'm working on trying to figure out how I'm going to print off each individual name and address on the STD postcards I'm going to have made. Ugh!
I'm also calling a few hotels in the are of the wedding to ask them about room blocks and seeing if I can tour the hotel and see a couple of the rooms when I'm in town this coming weekend.
For this weekend: we are off to Coronado again where we have appts with the Invitation Designer, Florist & DJ to book. Then Saturday Hair & Make-up trial and engagement photos.
We will also be scouting out other restaurants in the area of the wedding to choose from for the Rehersal Dinner.
