What is everyone doing about Honeymoon clothes

Everyone asks me about honeymoon clothes like I am supposed to go out and buy a new wardrobe just for the HM. Don't they realize that every penny up to the wedding is accounted for? And not for HM clothes? I hope to get a couple of things, but who knows

I hate that feeling...I had NO money for clothes this summer. Go to H and M and pick up a few cheapie little tank tops to make yourself feel like you are wearing something new. Also, I went to a consignment store (also Salvation Army) and bought a few designer sundresses for super cheap.

Where are you going for the honeymoon?

My b-day was at the end of June so I told my family to give me money or GC so I could buy clothes, I did buy a few things, but not much.

We are going to St. Lucia and Antigua..you?

I'm with you. A few new things, but nothing drastic. Not to worry, hopefully, you won't have to worry about wearing much.

please, I wore the same clohes I did before the wedding. I used some of the wedding cash (gift $$) to buy a new dress while we were in the bahamas and wore it out to a nice dinner at the harbor. That was it.

I usually sleep in pants and a t-shirt, so I say to FH the other night, while looking through a VS catalog, Do you like this, and I need to get sexy pajamas/lingerie. He's like no you don't. I say, Oh I should just wear the usual, he says yup

I've gained weight so I hardley have any summer clothes that fit. I mostly wear skirts to work, so I don't have any summer casual clothes, so I have to go get some shorts & bathing suits before the summer clothes are gone.

I am going on a cruise so I need 2 dresses for fancy dinners, I bought one Friday & may wear a dress I wore to a wedding on the other night.

if you want to pick up a few things now is the time to do it - they are giving it all away and making room for the fall clothes. Thats what I did last year - bought stuff at the end of the season - got a lot and saved alot.

We actually just went shopping yesterday to the outlets to buy a couple of new/nice summery things since we're going to Hawaii. FH said what's the point, but I think it's nice to have some nice new things that don't look like they've been washed a million times for your honeymoon, especially for the evenings.

If you do decide to go shopping, go soon before all the back to school clothes come out. I went to the J.Crew outlet and got some sundresses for $30 (they were 50% off)

I got three sundresses in Target for between $5 and $10 each, and 3 new bathing suits in Marshall's for $20 each And a cute sun hat because I am glow-in-the-dark pale! Tons of sales going on now!

I definitely plan on buying some new clothes for the HM. I ordered 7 new bathing suits from Newport News, for no more than $20 a piece. I have a store credit for Loehman's that I've been holding off on using, I want to get somecute summer dresses. I'll probably do most of the shopping in the nest coule of weeks before they start bringing out all of the fall stuff.

I was thinking of buying clothes for the honeymoon this summer during the end of summer clearance sales, but I am not sure just yet.

i had no $$ left after spending it on wedding things, but i did manage to go to old navy and pick yp a few pairs of sandals and some tank tops.... it felt so good to be a newly married woman in some new clothes!!!!!

I'm a resort rat I swear I travel alot and when I get there I like to relax (no ironing anything put it on and go)...packing all those clothes is a waste of time...while shopping I had a novel idea (I was out to breakfast and saw this woman walk in with her daughters to a restaurant all comfy - they were all wearing loungewear very cute!)...the novel idea was to use lounging pjs...there are alot of styles that look like regular street clothes...as long as you cannot see thru it it's ok at most resorts all you're wearing all week is your swimsuit except when you get dressed for dinner or go out for an excursion...also I purchased a lot of tops with the built in bras...voila no need to pack bras taking up room just add some thongs and I'm set...I love my lounging pj's they're hip, some are shorts some are capri length and they all have matching tops...i'm still taking the freaky lingerie and peignor set for my wedding night! FH wants just skin all week LOL Good luck ladies
