is it ok to tip more to the photographer than the videographer?
he will be with us longer, and taking more time posing us and stuff...

Butterfly20 - I think so. Not only the time difference, but you have so much more interaction with the photographer then the video guy.

Grea..thansk...we plan to tip our photgrapher more because he is with us three hours more and he doesnt work for himself..we will probbaly tip the video 100 dollars and photo 150, the Rev we will just give him teh fee since its all his anyhow...thanks so much for yoru advice!!!

I'd give the photographer a good tip since he'll be with your for 9 hours. $150 - 200 (unless he works for himself, then $100 I think is appropriate since the fee will be going to himself and the overhead as well).

As for the officiant, I don't think you should feel as though you should tip him if it's all going to him in the first place. Maybe an extra $50 if you feel he really did a nice job.

my videographer actually interacted with us as much as the photographer, spent the same amount of time too!

I have heard that in lieu of a tip for your officiant, one is to make a donation to the church - I think we are going to go that route...

I forgot about the assistant. We gave him $50. We gave our videographer $100 also.
