DH and I were thinking of doing the plug and socket one - I think that is hysterical. But I don't think we are now.
We are searching lots of websites for costume ideas. Since I am preggo and in a growing stage - not sure what I will fit in in 3 weeks. I have to look for something with some stretch. I usually don't like to buy a costume - I make it with things I own but this year I don't fit into much of what I own so I am on the lookout. Ebay has some great cheaper options...
One year DH and I did a guido and guidette straight from our 80's hs days - using things from our past.....it was fun because we talked and acted the part all night. Everyone got a kick out of it. We also did babies. That was easy and cheap to do with a few things from the dollar store.

One year DH and I were the Bobbits. I carried around a bloody knife, he had a bloody crotch and carried around a hot dog. It was a very easy and cheap costume!

We were at a party last year and there was a couple dressed as the plug and socket. They made it themselves with cardboard boxes so I think you could do it, pregnant or not!
This year we bought $5 t-shirts that say 'this is my halloween costume'. I know its lame but we are getting married in 199 days and barely have the $ for gas to get to the party!!!!

thanks girls your ideas are so funny!!! I love the martini costume but I don't think I want to spend $50.00 on it!!!
