Re: What is eyebrown threading?

I love threading. They take a thread and use it on your eyebrows. It is a little painful, but if you have sensitive skin it is great. When I use to wax my eyebrows it would always burn the skin and I would have to walk around with a burn mark under my eyebrow. Threading I have also noticed lasts longer. I got to DiRosa's in Franklin Square--it is a hair salon but they have an awesome girl who does it there and she shapes them so nice! I even got compliments on it. You do not need an appointment and she charges I believe $8.00.

Got this off a website...

Threading is a hair removal technique that uses a cotton thread. The 100% cotton thread is twisted and rolled along the surface of the skin entwining the hairs in the thread, which are then lifted out from the follicle. It is said to be more precise than waxing.

Threading it when they take a piece of thread to your eyebrows and create tiny knots in the thread to pull out your hair - I like it a lot better than waxing and its a technique that a lot of my Indian friends use.
