yes yes, i know fanfare brass is a vendor..

but when they say, they play 'One hour of fanfares'

what exactly does that mean???

are they greeting the guests??? or does it just mean music by trumpets????

Using trumpets, they are greeting the guests. Like, 'Da-da-da-da.'

Re: What is fanfare brass????

Fanfare is usually music selections played by trumpets, etc. to announce the arrival of people.

Think royalty - they always have fanfare played.

Also, think of the Wedding March. Right before the main part of the song is played you hear the horns in the beginning.

Hope this helps.
