Hi, the FH is thinking about his gift for his groomsmen.. he wants to take them to a Yankee game and sit in the Mohegan Sun area, but its like $100 per guy, and there's 5 guys.. its a little over budget. If he were to take them out to a steakhouse, it would also be around the same price. He's been in weddings before and got the cigar kit, a watch... etc.. as gifts and he'd rather do something a bit different for his guys and do something together.
Any ideas out there, or what is your FH doing for his guys?

My DH gve his guys a nice monogramed toiletry bag and his best man an engraved BBQ set. It was very nice and the guys loved getting something they can use!!!

We got them engraved crystal decanters from Things Remembered and a bottle of their favorite booze. We spent $75 on them. They loved it and it's practical. DH received a fold-up beer pong table from one of his friends and he loves it ( me not so much because we live in a 2 bedroom condo so where are we going to use it???)...

was thinking of doing beer mugs with a great imported beer (one that would be close to $20 for the bottle) and another ideas was movie tickets, so they can take out their girl.

we just bought all the guys and girls a little flip video camara on black friday!! originally 70.00 but got them on sale for 30!!! we will prob get them all something else too Fh wants to get his best man a nice watch too.

He's doing personalized football jerseys for each guy's favorite team with their name and then '11' on the back for our wedding year.

We are spending a little over 100.00 on each of them, but we only have 3 guys. We got them, a blue faced Fossil watch, and are getting them baseball caps in royal blue to match our NY Giants color theme.

FH bought his groomsmen a bottle of their favorite liquor - he spent about $50 per groomsment.

We are getting Gift cards to their favorite stores.
We want them to have something they will use and want.
We have both been in too many weddings where we get stuff we can never use. A flask is a really cool.....a beer stain is really cool and nice....a pocketwatch is REALLY nice....but he has no use for any of them.

Yeah.. thats why I think a yankees game is a cool idea.. but spending $100+ for 5 guys seems a bit much.. especially since we are trying to save money!

I saw a flask with a money clip and cigarette holder on one of these websites, which seems very convenient. Haven't decided what to do with it, but I was thinking of getting that for his guys. I also like the humidors with cigars in them and the BBQ sets previously mentioned (I've seen them in a few places).
If you wanted to do the steakhouse thing, you could try to work out a pre-fixe party menu (pending on how many guys are going).
