I feel like a ton of bricks are about to hit me. Actually they are hitting me right in the stomach. I'm either a jerk for being selfish or it's understandable and I need some hugs to get me through this. My wedding is Friday, and w/in a span of a couple of weeks the following guests call me .. 1. My FH's stepfather's parents are in a serious accident. The both of them. The man is in a coma as of today. Not coming 2. my cousin calls and says she's breaking up with her husband. not coming 3. my aunt calls and breaks her foot and doesn't want to put pressure on it cuz she's going to Italy. 4. Fh's partner's father has a major anuerism and it doens' tlook good. he probably won't be coming. 5. This is the clincher....my dad calls me and tells me the grandmother of a cousin that's a BM in my wedding has died this morning. The status of my cousin still being in the wedding is up in the air and I'm just assuming her whole family won't be coming. 7 people
OK...I'm just gonna go throw up now.

I know it's out of control, so much tragedy. It's a little overwhelming. I don't mean to complain about such things, but you guys are the only ones I can say stuff like this to. I needed to vent

Oh dear! I just had 2 cancellations last night & I thought THAT was a disaster
No worries though. I can tell you this. You would much rather have people at your wedding that are fully able to dance & have a good time, then people who aren't feeling well.. or even worse.. Just about to go through a divorce
Hang in there.. you have only a few days before your wedding... Try to relax
ETA... Those poor people!!!!!!!! I hope they feel better

Thanks...You're right. I would rather that. I know. As for the divorce, who knows, my cousin is still living with him and she spoke about going to hawaii with him. Maybe they'll work it out.

I am so sorry to hear about all that sadness!!
But as for your wedding... honestly, you won't even notice that day.. it will be all about you and your new husband, and everything around you will just melt away!

So much horrible news....I am so sorry for all of those people. Its so unfortunate that it is all happening at the happiest time in your life. Sorry for your added stress ...but focus on FH and You.....there hopefully will be enough love and happiness to sustain you and enough support to help those in your family that need your love and support.

I'm sorry to hear about all that is happening.
But you need to focus on yourself and your FH. It might sound harsh, but this is the time for your marriage, not outside interferences. Think about it this way, it's best you know now than asking on your wedding day where people are.
Put blinders on and remember you're marrying the love of your life!
