FH and I had this great Honeymoon planned to drive cross country. We were going to go see Sigfried and Roy, which is now cancelled, We were going to go to the Price is Right, which is still running, but Rod died, and the fires in California are starting to spread to areas we are supposed to be going. Is this a Sign??? What's next? Maybe this trip is not such a good idea? I am starting to get worried. What should we do? Should we cancel and go somewhere else or just stick it out? This is our dream trip, we are driving cross country for 3 weeks. ARGH!!!!

I wouldn't worry. You are not going until Feb. I am sure you will be fine! It does stink that Rod is gone! I was upset when I heard that this morning! Go on your dream trip and have a great time!!!

I love cross country trips!
These things happened at least they happened BEFORE you left instead of while you were there. Take it as a good sign (all be it sad) that now you can plan 'accordingly'. Road trips like this are best left to being spontaneous anyway. Have fun go off the beaten track.

I think everything will be just fine! You still have months to go before your trip; if you were leaving tomorrow, then I would be concerned about the fires. If this is your fantasy honeymoon, then go for it! You guys will be husband and wife, traveling together across the country - I think you will have a fantastic time and will have such wonderful memories from your trip!!
