Re: What is Hamentashen?
Hamentashen are cookies that are traditionally eaten on the Jewish holiday of Purim, which was today. The triangular shape represents the hat of the evil Haman, who tried to kill the Jews in Persia. Hamentashen are usually filled with raspberry, apricot or prune jelly, but sometimes can have chocolate in them instead - those are my favorite!
