Re: What is IVF and IUI?

IVF is invitro fertilization.....they remove the eggs and fertilize them outside the womb and then place them back to implant....

IUI is intrauterine insemination...artificial insemination....they wash the sperm and insert it inside the uterus.....to assist fertilization.

That's my simplified version

IVF is in-vitro fertilization and IUI is inter-uter0?? - not 100% sure about that one.

Both are two well known process used for fertility treatment. These processes help couple’s to become pregnant in case when all other medications or treatment failed.
IUI is a process in which processed and strenuous motile sperm are directly inserted into a uterus of woman. Whereas, IVF is the most successful process performed in hospitals, in which eggs from women and sperm from man are combined in a laboratory dish to form embryos. These embryos are then transferred back to women uterus for successful pregnancy.
