What is MIL waiting For

Ok so my wedding is a little less then 3 months away and she still has not went looking for a dress she keeps telling me she wants me to take her and we make plans to go but then she cancels she has been doing this for over a month now. I told her that most of the time when you order a dress it will take about 2 to 3 months to come in. Hope she plans on shopping at macy's or something like that

Sorry but its just annoying

I feel your pain...my mother hasn't gotten hers either or my MIL.

my wedding is in 11 days...and my own mother still has no dress.

i yell at her weekly..but it doesn't help.

Tell me about it what are these people waiting for. Ok my mom got her dress she got her first fitting. I told MIL this and she is like well I have time I am glad you think so. Not only that but she thinks that I can go whenever she wants um no I have a 1 year old that I have to take care of and make sure I have someone to wat ch her while we run around

I know what you mean ive been telling my mom for months to go and 'look' at dresses and still nothing...who knows when she plans on getting one

My MIL got hers 1 1/2 week before my our wedding!!!!!!

And it ended up being the same as my mothers.....

I feel your pain too! FMIL waited till two months before to order, her dress came in with a problem so she sent it back. It came in with another problem. She ordered a new dress from a new place (last week) and I am getting married in 9 days. Hopefully it all works out (I like the new dress 1,000x better than the original dress - so perhaps it is a blessing! )

She should definetly start now-in case it takes a while to find a dress and for it to come in. I would pull a surprise visit when I know she's home and capture her for dress shopping. Make it fun-go out to dinner afterwards.
