I just got back from Princess Bridal in Farmingdale and I tried on 4 dresses and I hate them all why cant I find a dress??????????? what is my problem I have been to 6 places my wedding is 7 mths away is anyone else having the same issue?

Maybe you are having trouble envisioning yourself in the dress? I mean, it's hard to get the real feeling of a dress when you dont have your hair and makeup done, you are in the wrong lighting, and wearing sneakers, ya know? Plus, the dresses most likely arent in your size and don't fit the way they're supposed to. Have you tried trying on dresses with your hair and makeup done nice? With your tiara and your veil on? That might help you 'envision' what you will look like wearing the dress on your wedding day. Also, go on days you feel good. If you are tired and hungry or just PMS-ing, then it doesn't matter if Vera Wang just designed the gown for you...you wont feel good in anything...JMO

I couldn't even really judge the way the dresses looked on me after awhile. I didn't say 'oh my God I love this dress,' when I tried on the one I ended up getting, it just had a mixture of things that I had liked about a bunch of other dresses. I tried on like 10 at each place I went to, so don't feel bad about not liking the four you tried on, it just takes time.

You will find something - Don't worry !! Not everyone is the type to 'just know' they have found 'the dress' - I know i'm not !! I am the most critical person of myself and I knew I was not going to look in the mirror and see ANYTHING I could say 'oh my god this looks great on me' - I chose my gown b/c it was the only one I tried on that when I looked in the mirror I could actually 'see' myself walking down the aisle in....... Don't stress ! You will find something !!

I looked and looked and LOOKED. I went into Lilettes in Baldwin with my mom and aunt. My aunt pulled out a dress and said try this one I said no its ugly she said TRY IT ON. I did and it was my dress. I found it in Feb. My wedding was in June that was like 4 months. Trust me you will find ure dress!

I think that's SOOOOOoooo true... the dresses can look COMPELETLY differnet on the hanger... Someting that you think you would NEVER wear, might be the right dress for you! The one I ended up gettign, is strapless, and i was TOTALLY against strapless (i still might add straps)... but I normally don't like that type of style... well, when I tried it on, it looked great! so you never know until you try it on!

Also, (not to give them business b/c of all the horiable things i've heard) but Davids Brial has a HUGE selection of 'types of styles' in almost every size, so you can go there and get a feel of what 'style' looks best on you, so that you'll know what to be on the look-out for!

that happened to me also! the lady pulled out this dress and i was like eh, i really dont love it - but i went in with an OPEN mind, tried it on and FELL IN LOVE with it! I just knew it was the one.. kinda like how you know youre marrying the man youre supposed to!! =Jennifer..
