You know the entrance where the bridesmaids hold their bo-k's up and the groomsmen hold something else and the bride and groom walk under their arms? Our GM will be holding light sabers. I had to compromise somewhere for all of the Disney stuff I've been tying in!

Well the whole thing will be unlike any i'v e been to besides the one we attended recently in Israel..ceremony & reception are all at the same location.
First of all as soon as you arrive there will be food & drinks available. And it's beach casual...meaning you can come in a sun dress & flip flops...and guys can dress down with just a shirt & pants. Everything is outside (no rain please!..haha)
We are going to greet all our guests together as they arrive so that we can spend our reception having fun & dancing.
Then we will 'announce' it's time for the ceremony, about a half hour after the given arrival time on the invite. It'll be short & sweet, FH's sister got ordained on-line so she can marry us...then one big party under a tent.
We are having a clam bake on the small stip of beach at our location as well as a local wine tasting.
We are having the father/bride and groom/mom dance together with one song, and the cake cutting are the only other 'traditional' things we are doing. I hope our guests like it!

they're doing an ice cream station at ours like cold stone creamery with all the candy and extras to add in. i think we're also doing a fresh crepes station with all kinds of fruit.

I've seen it done before but not too often and no wedding i've been to...After the bp and we make our entrance and you have to run under the bp holding up their arms, well instead of them holding eachothers hands were gonna have them hold up baseball bats since Fh is a big baseball fan and still plays all the time on a bunch of leagues. I have a few other stuff in mind but still havent completely decided.

My Fh is a HUGE Ohio State Buckeye fan, so we're getting all of the vests custom made so they are reversable. At the reception, the guys will flip their vests over and they will be turned into Ohio State buckeye vests ![]()
