What is or did everyone tip the...

Waiters at the wedding? Did you even tip them at all? I know there will be a lot of them, so I was thinking $20-$25 each. Sound Good?

I was reading julybride444's post and thats why I am asking. My hall only has a service charge, gratuities are not included.

We also only had to tip the maitre'd. Check with your hall. They are all different. If it's not included I think $25 sounds good. How many tables is each one covering...is it one per table?

my hall stated that the service charge is for the wait staff and that i should only tip the MD so that is what i plan to do. :)

You usually tip the banquet manager or maitre d' approx $2 per person and they divy it out to the wait staff.

We only tipped the Matra D. However, some tables pooled money and tipped their waitress/waiter.

Boop ask your bm you usually don't have to tip the waiters. I personally usually tip the waiter if they were good so I am sure your guests will do the same

Tip is included in my contract for the waiters,.. but suggested to tip the M'-D $2-$3 a head.

I'm thinking I might be upset if my guest contribute tips to the waiters.... Give the money to me, I'll tip the M'-D. hehe just kidding. Receptions are so expensive.
