Just curious to know what you ladies are splurging on for your wedding? I don't have anything yet but im sure the most expensive is the hall..

That is so nice of your parents that they are paying for the hall for you!! I def am getting help from mine as well but they don't have it so i feel guilty taking from them.
Lol- my fh has had it with me being so indecisive... i just want to save money thats all =(..
I did not even look into places we could not afford. We heard great things about patken and some djs that we are only going to two places to compare and then will book.

Photog and honeymoon LOL
I was the reason behind the photog and FH was the reason behind the honeymoon LOL so i guess it evens out.
Most everything else is being paid by our families - those are 2 things that we/he is paying for (his is paying for the photographer).

I think everything was a 'splurge'
but the invitations.
everyone will throw them out anyway so that was the only thing I didn't spend a ton of money on because I didn't really care.

Hmm, I guess the photographer was quite overbudget, but I didn't have a realistic budget at that time. The RH obviously cost the most, but it was about what we expected to pay for. I'm really hoping not to have any real over splurges!!

Um everything. I wanted to elope! Luckily my FIL's are paying for most, but I bought my dress which was a splurge.

i dont think i have really splurged on anything i have a pretty strict budget...but if i had extra money i would love to splurge on some fancy linens for the tables!

Sorta slurged, I bugeted to spend more on the photgrapher. The photos are so important to me that I made sure to set aside a good amount of money for someone we really loved.

Since the only thing we booked so far is RH, it's hard to say but I know the flowers are going to be way more than I thought! Our honeymoon is our big splurge. We wanted to go somewhere neither of us has been so we are taking a cruise of Europe.

We splurged on the photographer. FH definitely didn't want us spending as much as we are but I made him realize our photos and video are the only thing we will have after the one BIG day. Plus, I told him I will budget every where else! So well be having 2 photographers and 1 videographer! The RH isn't a splurge because both our sets of parents are paying for who they want at the wedding. We're only paying for our friends.

The caterer/hall. It's not horribly expensive, but it is my dream hall and we are adding an hour as well as a couple of extras.

i really wouldnt call it splurging but something that is most likely unnecesary and more expensive than i wouldve liked is my rhinestone ribbon,.......
i already bought 12 yards for $300 and think i need another 12 yards for another $300

FH & I might splurge on our DJ and add the zap shots, plasma tv's and photo montage. We booked our DJ last week and can add any updates on later... OH, also we did add on the bojo night (our lights in names on the dance floor) can't wait to see it!!

Also RH sort of!!! We could get a RH much cheaper but FH wants it in Manhattan and we both love the place so we did budget for it. If he is happy splurging on this it will definitely make our day better so i am happy.
