What is that disease where you eat stuff that isn't food?

Pica??? I think my dog has it. He will literally eat anything. This morning he ate a highlighter (right now his beard is yellow) just now he was chewing on the corner of a box, i moved the box and he found a tag off of god only knows what and was chewing on that. I feed him the exact amount the vet said he should get... why is he doing this????

Jack does the same thing..he loves paper of any sort..maybe its a schnauzer thing?

I think it just may be!!!! I had a box of tissues on my end table and he went to town on the them the other night. They were destroyed in the time it took me to take my contacts out!

all of my animals, dogs or cats, have done the eat everything thing. i think it's just in there nature haha

My dogs will chew and eat anything they can get their cute little paws on! I think it's just a dog thing.

Well on the up side schnauzers are adorably cute and very comical.

I should have taken a picture!!! D@mn! He's already been bathed to remove the hilighter... I couldn't have him looking a mess for the g2g!!!

I think it's 'most' dogs. We have a Dachshund and he eats anything left at his level. Tussues, paper, you name it!!!
