What is that one extra gift you have just in case?
My neighbor gave us a nice cutting board with goodies last year and I had to make a make shift gift for them. I do not know if I should give them gift or not. And If I do what should it be?

I don't think it is necessary for a gift exchange to take place, I would get a thank you card, and maybe bake something.

I always have extra cookie jars around. bake something and stick them in there.
My mom always has some scratchoffs ready.. lol stick them in a card and your good to go.

i always by whitmans samplers when there on sale and keep a few of them around wrapped in the christmas paper there is always someone i have to give to last minute if not i eat them myself yummm . i also keep a few bottles of wine around because there good as gifts year round
