What is the ..

I am trying not to make my wedding a nightmare for her. She picked her dress and she is picking her shoes. She can do whatever make-up and updo she wants.

In exchange I need her time for DYI (Chapel deco...)

She is a BM in another wedding before me and the bride is a bridezilla. She is not even her MOH.

So I am giving her a break.

I am also giving her a spa gift certificate to pamper herself after the wedding.

I was thinking of a spa day too.

I'm not doing anything extra for her specifically because she hasn't helped me AT ALL (it's my sister) but I am doing the spa for all my girls the day before - not a full day because I can't afford it but maybe like $125 certificate so they can pic like massage & manicure or facial & pedicure.. you get the idea

My sisters are my MOH. They have both done nothing. I know that neither one helped pick the place for my shower and they have not helped me at all. I will get them each a nice piece of jewelry and that is that. They have not called... they have not helped me pick ONE thing, etc.

so sorry to hear! I hear so many horror stories on here about MOHs that disappoint the brides....i would just be if i had to deal with that!

And i got them each a precious moment and i got them pearl rings. and, i'm paying for their hair for the day of..

i really want to--but i'm not sure what to do! my MOH is my sister--and our family story is rather unique. (she's only 5 months older than me---figure it out!) we are very close, and i want to do something that really lets her know that i am so glad she is my MOH....but not sure a day spa is enough! any ideas would be great!

How about getting her a weekend getaway somewhere? Poconos, Miami, Montaulk (whatever you budget allows)

That is pretty funny!

I'm a little ashamed to admit....nothing.

It's my younger sister (I am the middle of three sister, and we made it a 'rotating position'), and she doesn't have a penny to her name (still in Grad school). My mom is pretty much coordinating everything, and is actually paying for my sister's dress and shoes, so I guess my mom is the one deserving of something 'extra.'

I am trying to make it easy on my MOH, too. She has 4 boys and is expecting her 5th child, a girl finally, any day now. But she keeps insisting I let her do more! I am most likely getting all the girls silver jewelry to wear, and I might even personalize it. Like, I know my MOH likes butterflies, so I'll get her a necklace with a butterfly on it, ya know what I mean?
