Re: what is the anniversary dance?
'A lot of people, instead of doing the traditional throw away of garter/bouquet, do an anniversary dance. The DJ/Band plays a song and they ask people who've been married less than 5 hours to step off dance floor, then he works his way up to 20 years, 30 years, and the couple remaining get the toss away bouquet.'

Re: what is the anniversary dance?
We are probably doing it...I am basically the last of my friends to get married and don't want to make any of the few single people feel uncomfortable....

Re: what is the anniversary dance?
I think we may forgo the garter thing but keep the bo-k toss. But I really like this anniversary dance thing! I saw it for the first time at a wedding last year and I thought it was awesome. A good way to celebrate marriage!

Re: what is the anniversary dance?
We did the Anniversary Dance at our wedding. We knew my grandparents would be the last couple dancing (54 years married!). Honoring them was so much more special to us than tossing the bouquet and MANY of our guests thought it added a personal touch.

I think I'm going to talk to FH about this...sounds so much more respectful and personal than just throwing bo k!
