Re: WHAT IS THE ANNIVERSARY DANCE
Married couples are asked to come to the dance floor. Then the DJ/MC starts narrowing the couples down to who's been married the longest, i.e., 'everyone who's been married 2 years or less may be seated', then 'everyone who's been married 5 years or less may be seated' and so on and so on. Until the last couple that's been married the longest is still on the dance floor. (It's usually some grandparents.) Traditionally, the couple that's been married the longest is presented with the bouquet and the garter.

Re: WHAT IS THE ANNIVERSARY DANCE
I think it's something they do at some weddings now instead of throwing the bo-k and doing the garter toss.
all married couples take part - I think.
We're not doing this at our wedding b/c FH's mom is a widow, and I don't want her to feel left out of anything.

Re: WHAT IS THE ANNIVERSARY DANCE
Oh thanks alot guys I like the idea of that. I think I want to do that at my wedding but we are doing the gater toss and the Bouguet throw.
Can I do that Anniversary Dance also and present the couple who is left with a gift.
