what is the appropriate amount of time....

to take off from work before the wedding?! i am trying to fill out my request off time sheet now, but dont know how long before i should take off! any advice? what r u all doing?

Im off in the summers so I wont need to ask for time off....but if I wasnt I would probably take off atleast 2 or 3 days before.

I would like to take the whole week off but I have to see if I will have enough time. If not i'm thinking My last day will be a tuesday and I'm getting married on a saturday.

I am thinking that if possible I just want off Thursday & Friday...I am getting married on Saturday.

I have to take off 2 days for my bach party and also 2 weeks for teh honeymoon so I didnt want to get too greedy...

We're a Friday wedding.
I'm taking off Thursday and obviously Friday. Our HM is 2 weeks so we'll be off for that.

I'm taking off for the destination Bach. party also...though that's sometime in July. I don't think you need more than a day or two before the wedding off. What do you plan to do all those days?

we are going to LI right after my daughter is out of school... so about 2 weeks before we will be on LI finish up last min things and getting everything else ready.
i don't think we are doing our HM right after more like a few weeks or months later but we hae to figure thaoes details out like real soon

I will probably take 2 or 3 days off prior...my wedding is on a saturday, so I'd like to have at least two full days for tying up loose ends. The upside is that I don't have set vacation time, so in theory I can take off as much as I want. The bad part is that I accidently picked a day right at the end of deadline week!!! I'm hoping that it doesn't turn into a disaster.

I'll be taking three days off beforehand. Don't know how much there will be to really do (as I hope to mainly be done by then!) but I figured, why not?! Luckily I get a ton of vacation time a year so it won't matter.

I am getting married on a Friday and taking off Wednesday and Thursday as well. I can't justify taking any more (though I'd LOVE to) because I am then taking the following two weeks off.

Getting married 9 months from Friday ... just realizing this today LOL ... time flies!

I am getting married on a Saturday and taking off the Thursday and Friday before, then the week and a half off after. So that is total 2 weeks, but only 2 days before the wedding.

I took 2 1/2 days off before the wedding. I didnt have anything left to do except go to the hall and drop all my stuff off. Oh and a dress fitting, lus a blow out, nails, etc. I had plenty of time to relax and be at peace though. Jus try hard to get everything done before (seating cards, etc)

My wedding is on a Saturday. I was just going to take Thursday and Friday off, but my bosses told me to take off starting Wednesday - so 3 days before and 4 weeks after.
