what is the best and cheapest way to sell a used car

i have to get rid of my Hyunday accent asap, the dealer wont take it so what are my options, Ive never sold anything before

put it on www.craigslist.org - the New York section. It's $25 to post a 30 day ad.

When I sold my Honda, I put it in Newsday and it sold very quickly. I don't remember the cost. But if you price it right, it should sell fairly quickly.

Do you have another car to drive?

Can you park it near/on a busy street?

Sometimes just driving around with a For Sale sign is good.

I would put a for sale sign on the car with the information. I am selling my Jeep, just put signs on this morning and have already had 3 people inquire...
