I just recently quit biting my nails 1 month ago They are getting so long! I am looking for a nailpolish to keep them protected that wont chip or peel. Also something that won't dissolve in Isopropyl alcohol since I get it on my hands a lot at work. Clear or neutral colors would be best.

Esse( I think that's how its spelled) is good. That's what's used in the salons. Sally Hansen products are also good. Are you nails thin like paper? I was a nail biter for over 20 years. my nails are thin and extremely week.

for a great nail polish that will help your nails grow and get strong i would use sally hanson- hard as nails. essie has the best color that wont chip

Essie makes the best polishesbut, the best top coat is made by Wet and Wild. It only costs a buck. Honestly,it is the best top coat I ever used.

My nails are not thin and weak at all. My hands get wet alot though and sometimes they peel! I have tried Sally Hansen and I find that it peels off, probably from all the water/alcohol/other chemicals I get on my hands at work.

for an undercoat, I recommend Sally Hansen Diamond Strength. It is really good for short or recently 'soaked' nails to help them grow.
Put 2 coats as an undercoat, then Essie or OPI is good for longevity. I also like the Wet & Wild top coat to prevent chips, but you can also try Sally Hansen 60 second dry top-coat.

what about using Nailtiques...its supposed to be applied up to three times a day but can also be used as a bottom coat if you wanted to use a polish...Its expensive but it really stregnthens and hardens your nails

Esse Esse Esse! I tried all the drugstore brands and the cosmetic counter brands...but Esse is it! A fabulous summer color that every girl should use is Ballet Slippers. It is a very pale pink almost clear...try it, you will love it. Trust me, my FI says I know my manicurist better than I know him. He is laughing at me right now, pffft.
