Actually, I love everything about our hall except the 45 minute drive from the church to the hall. FH loves everything except the ceiling in the cocktail hour room..yeah, he's strange.

The food. The colors and look of our room, and I love that most of my family hasn't attended a wedding there.

I can't pick just one thing. I LOVE the cocktail hr room. I LOVE the food. I LOVE the reactions I get when I tell people where I am having my wedding.

I agree - We booked at Giorgio's also, and we love it. My favorite thing would have to be the location as well. The golf course, the beach, the gardens......LOVE IT!!

I love the beautiful, understated Tuscan architecture, the vines and hydrangeas that will be in bloom and -- of course -- the delicious wine!

I love the way it sits on acres of 'ground,' I love the feel of the cocktail room, I live that its a hotel, I love that there is a pub and bowling alley all in one location, I love that I think I'll feel like royalty that day just by pulling up to this 'grand estate'

Only 1 wedding at a time, the food, and the fact that very few of my friends and family have ever been to or even heard of the place. 'Where's Great River?'
I have family in GR and practically grew up there! My local friends had never heard of it either and I thought it was the weirdest thing!
But I get the same answers for BCE - no one has ever heard of it! lol

I love the gorgeous lobby, the spacious cocktail hour (and loads of food) and the mahogany toned reception room...and my FH's favorite part is the separate bar off to the side of the room, where all our friends can hang out!!! When anyone asks where I am getting married and I telk then, they always tell me how awesome the food is!!!

I totally agree. I love that it's secluded from traffic and the scenery is breathtaking during spring/summer/early fall months. I love the wrap around deck too! Oh and the garden, it's exactly what I was looking for in a ceremony site! Oh and their attention to detail, the place is so clean and they are always updating and making it better!

I love the Riviera because:
1. Location, location..On the water in Massapequa is the number one reason we chose this place.
2. Not the biggest, but the best...It is not one of the new halls but the old homey feeling that you get when you walk in. Relaxed setting makes the guests happy.
3. $$ Price $$... On a budget, like everyone else, the Riviera made an offer we could not refuse. Great price for what you get. I can't wait to hit the chocolate fountain.
4. MOST IMPORTANT...reccomendations. This place has been around for so long with a great reputaion. Food and Service have always been apart of the Riviera.
Sorry this is long, you asked and I am so excited to be getting married there. We both know we made the right choice for us.

*Everything is fairly new as it was build about 2* years ago so thats a plus for me
*The entire atmosphere is very comfortable
*Access to the beautiful brick patio for cocktail hour if people prefer or smokers
*The fact that they have rooms there for people to sleep in the night of so more people can drink and have a better time LOL
*And, most important, the staff, I find to be extremely nice, I have Shanoon and I honestly dont think I've met anyone any nicer than her.......I dont know how she does it. LOL
