What is the best way to tell guests about your hotel block?
So we just reserved our hotel block. I have had a few people mention they want a hotel room and we also have some OOT guests. I would like people to know sooner than later so they can figure out what they want to do.
What is the best way to tell them? Oh and we already send the STD's out, so I don't have that as an option

I had a stamp made from Vista print with our names, date the rooms must be booked by and the rate per room. I got directionals from the hotel and stamped each card. We put them in out Save the dates.
We also included it in the invite. But this gives people a heads up and for some more time to save $.

My first wedding over 8 yrs ago I put something in the invitation. However times have changed and I think an email letting them know would be ok. Especially to the ones who were already inquiring.

would enclose something in the invitation, and then also let my bridal party and close family know the info ahead of time....this can be a simple email

include in the invitation but for those who you are def going to invite, email them or post info on your wedding website.

Email AND in the invites
We put the info in the STD's and will put in invites also

We sent out Hotel Info with our STD's so they knew ahead of time which hotel we would be using. We sent the info again with the invites. It's also listed on our wedding website.

i have told people that I speak to frequently by word of mouth. I will then place something additional in the invitation

i booked our hotel block after our STDs went out and we don't have a website.
i put the information in the invite and I emailed the reservation invite to my mom, OOT friends and future-in-laws b/c the invites don't go out until july and i know they are definitely going to want rooms. it was very informal.

I had a wedding website with the information. Also, I emailed all OOT guests as well as family that I knew wanted to stay. We're just about 2 months away and not too many rooms have been booked! There's a card in the invitation too! Those go out this week.
