Re: What Is the Best Wedding Favor You Have Received
I haven't really received anything good, but I figure something good is something that can be eaten or practically used. We are giving out sandalwood fans to all our guests, because we're having an outdoor ceremony in the middle of July. We liked that since it was practical and we figured everyone would be really grateful.
Honestly if we weren't doing that we'd be doing a donation...I don't see a need to waste money on things that won't be used.

A bottle of wine, or anything edible. Other trinkets are nice, but will either be thrown away or collect dust on a shelf somewhere.

I gave out mini picnic basket with truffles in milk chocolate with praline nuts and white chocolate with strawberry center for my wedding. As for receiving favors, it's the typical coasters, figurines, or almond jordans.

Re: What Is the Best Wedding Favor You Have Received
To be honest their is not really one that stick out but at the last wedding I went to we got a tea pot and cup set. Personally, I like the idea of edible favors like chocolates, wines, mini cakes, etc. At least you know they'll be used.

I've always liked when people gave donations.
My cousin did the Godiva wedding cake-shaped chocolate and everyone loved those!

I like edible favors, you can eat them and not have to find a place to put it in your house.

Re: What Is the Best Wedding Favor You Have Received
go edible or drinkable. it will almost 100% be used. and if you give out wine to people who dont drink it..chances are they will re-gift it or have company who will drink it...either way your money went to use.
trinkets get thrown away and are usually of poor quality.
to the girls who got a spoon rest...i would like to receive that as well...or an oil and vingear set i think is a good idea but those get expensive

Re: What Is the Best Wedding Favor You Have Received
I have to say that my favorite has been a donation in lieu of a favor. I love knowing that instead of something I probably won't use, the money goes to help animals or ppl for a good cause. My second favorite was anything edible...I love food lol
